Lynn Scott started fly fishing when he was 10 and has spent over 40 years fly fishing the waters of the West. Some of his favorite water as of late has been the Henry’s Fork, South Fork of the Snake and the famed waters of Henrys Lake in Idaho. He, along with a partner, acquired the guiding business BS Flies & Tackle from the legendary Bill Schiess a few years ago. Guiding has given him a great opportunity to teach, have a little fun, and to photograph nature.

It wasn’t until the last few years that his interest in photography blossomed. He noticed guys like Bill Schiess, Brett Colvin, Jason Morrison and others taking award-winning photographs and decided, “I want to do that!” He has commented that he is “far from mastering the art of photography but a little closer than I was yesterday.”
